How To Survive A Breakup

A breakup is a difficult thing to deal with, and it is hard on you and your ex. There are a great number of hurt emotions and feelings, and the act of surviving a breakup will involve a great deal of personal strength. This task may seem daunting, especially with a big void in your chest. You cannot easily fill that void with anything, it is that painful and difficult to handle. What you should consider, however, is that you are not the first couple to break up and you will not be the last. You should take solace in that you and your partner will survive and will be moving forward.

When you are faced with the job of attempting to getting through a breakup, there are a number of tips that will lead you towards surviving the breakup. Step one is to not bottle up the discomfort. One cannot go thru life without discomfort. Splitting up with a friend or family member is emotionally the same as the demise of one. You must know that you’ll be hurt and that it is OK to break down a little and cry as required. You need to write down stuff, you need to scream, you need to do whatever is wanted to let all the discomfort out and go on.

Once you have reached a clear and calm state, you are now ready to evaluate things and try and find out where you and your partner are in the relationship. Knowing where you are will allow you and yours to make the right decision. More times than not, you will find that the relationship is truly over. This is something that you and your ex partner needs to come to terms with. Once you are at terms with things, you take the next step.

When you’ve come to the choice not to let the relationship continue, you and your ex wants to get rid of the overlaps in your lives. This includes property that you 2 have exchanged and are left at the other’s home. This kind of negotiation and separation is to make sure that nothing is left as an emotional landmine later in your lives. Once the 2 of you have utterly separated, then what you need to do is to perform a completing ritual. This is a symbological event that will involve letting an effigy of your ex go, through destroying it or another task. You might burn one of their letters, their photograph, throw away their left-overs, and remove their files off your personal computer and the like. This pointless gesture is for your benefit.

At this point, you must use whatever support that’s open to you. This is pals, family, and other family and friends that can offer an emotional support net for you. Even though you have done what you can to melt the blow of the break up, you’ll still face turbulence. As a consequence you’ll need all the help you can get as you are surviving a split.

How To Fight Back Against Those Nasty Bullies

I was a person who was an easy target for those nasty bullies. I was some what unfortunate to develop a stutter when I was a young child. Despite attending different forms of stuttering therapy I was only able to achieve fluency when I was in my twenties.

I was always struggling with my weight and was larger than most of my other classmates and I was the shortest male in the class.

I had hoped that people who I would meet at work would be rather more mature than these school kids – they are adults after all. I could not have been more wrong?

There was one main bully who made my life hell, his name was Gary. Gary constantly took the mickey out of myself and would mimmick my stuttering at regular intervals. I tried to not let it bother me, but it did. I let this continue for nearly year and by now I was feeling very depressed and was ready to quit.

I then read a book about the subject of bullying and it wrote about something which they called, playing the nutter card. Basically at for example work, you can be who you want to be. A nutter does not worry about another persons size or weight or power. They are willing to go one step further than the majority of people ane this is they way in which we have to threaten the bully – with belief – this way he/she is more likely to back up – after all they are all supposed to be cowards.

I decided to be brave and give it a go. I could not physically hurt Gary as he is twice the size of me and twice as powerful. He does not know the people in my circle of friends though, I needed to convince him that they could.

On the day when I actually went for it, it had not been planned. I never really believed that I would do it, even though I wanted to. This day the bullying was very distressing and was in very bad taste. I was really mad and clocked out of work and went to wait by Gary’s car, but hidden behind a tree.

Gary eventually approached his car and went to unlock the door, as he did I jumped on his back but quickly fell off. He turned round with a shocked look on his face, however was happy when he saw that it was me. I started swearing at him and told him that I had had enough. I informed him that a number of my friends are a bit tapped in the head, but that they would do anything to help me. If I told them the abuse he was giving me, they would not be best pleased and would basically beat him to a pulp. I told him that if I ever heard him bad mouthing me again, whether it was directly to my face or behind my back – then I would let them know – he would then have to await his punishment to happen. I then ran off shaking.

The next day I went to work in a nervous state, I am happy to report he fell for the bait and was as good as gold after that.

I still left the company where I worked around six months later, but it was for the right reasons as I had been made a good offer by a local DVD authoring company but in the end I opted to work for a business cost cutting specialist. At this workplace I am more than pleased to confirm that everyone is very nice and therefore there is no requirement to play the “nutter card”.

Sinusitis – Can It Lead to Halitosis?

bleeding gums

Halitosis has really become an issue for people who practice proper hygiene. With all the products available in the market today, having unhealthy gums and teeth when paired with foul smelling mouth odor is a mortal sin.

You have to understand that there are different reasons for having halitosis and one could be due to dental problems. Several other reasons could be the medications you take for a certain condition and the kind of foods you eat.

These causes of bad breath are reversible. When dental problem is the issue, your dentist is always within reach – it can be costly to pay a visit to a dental pro but it becomes your best option when you have multiple decaying teeth. Try therabreath products - they are oxygenated and pH balanced.

With the issue of foods like garlic and onion – it will clear overnight. Many dentists advise the use of alcohol-free mouthwash for a safer and more effective rinse.  A portable oral irrigator may be helpful – it’s easy to carry and can be placed in a purse or convenience bag.

Sinusitis could also be a cause of halitosis as the airway is affected. The person needs to breathe through the mouth, it adds up to the drying up of the oral cavity and thus become a breeding ground for anaerobic bacteria. The mucous also never clears up so it encourages the bacteria to multiply and later on lead to abscess or pus formation.

Can you imagine how that would manifest when the only exit for that smell is your mouth. It could really be repulsive but you become helpless the situation is out of control. It is time to consult your medical professional to correct your sinusitis problem. Halitosis can still be reversible at this point but the treatment may be more complicated. Learn more about this important topic.
