There is an olden maxim that says, “No man is an island.” An island is alone delimited by water, never stirs to be near any nearby island, and stands still in whatsoever weather or condition. It is in these relating with his fellows that a man or woman, for the feminists out there feels the value of relationships. Because people have diverse backgrounds, credos, convictions and a host of other characteristics, unavoidably a number of them that are in persons will run into and come in conflict against each other at one time or another. Conflicts of character convictions and the abrading of feelings in a man polish his character and mental frame, so that his personality may be, later on, termed ‘well-rounded’, able to adapt to synergistic external settings whether built-in or inflicted by other people or situations, fitting effortlessly to the demands of such conditions.

This capacity to adapt quickly and well will in return grant him peace and tranquility, since he would not be contradictory with anyone or anything.  Thus personal contradictions as a natural result of relationships act only to upgrade the being in all aspects of his spirit, and perceptions for his nature.
